STORYLINE;
Jun. 22nd, 2015 02:00 amDespite Reickhiert's storyline, I actually don't have anyone
to play Amelliore or Kh'arkelnn! Their stories aren't too specific,
so they're totally free and open for interpretation if anyone is interested
in playing them!The odds are stiff, but I figured I'd give it a short!
The world was once young, and devoid of magic, before the oracle had spoken her first words. It was she, known as Skiirrmishnae, teller of all stories, seer of all futures, and composer of all fates spoke her first words, and in those words, was the first spell of the universe. With a simple sentence, she vocalized rolling hills, monumental caverns and the stars in the sky. With another, she vocalized the grass and the wind, the oceans and the trees. Her whispers made the universe itself, and as an unintentional byproduct, she created the Maelstrom. The source of all what we now call magic. Invisible sweeping waves which danced within the empty world became turbulent, and created chaos. Storms ate away at her perfect creation. Earthquakes broke apart the land she had built, and the caverns filled with magma.
To compensate for the sweeping power that she created, she then constructed three powerful entities, each of them assigned names at their birth. These names were: Kh'arkelnn, Reickhiert and Amelliore. These three entities were created with the purpose of regulating the three magics of the world: Illumination magic, axial magic, and Shadow magic. Initially, they were created without identity, as formless, sentient masses, subduing and absorbing the errant, destructive-magic until the world was stabilized. It was there, in their saturated state that they finally matured into their humanoid form.
When the world became stable, the Oracle then created life. Good and evil, thrived. These creatures, who could harness their own magic, kept the maelstrom forever from overflowing, and the Oracle granted her three keepers of magic freedom to thrive in the world they helped to maintain. They were to be granted the freedom to manipulate magic itself for the good of the world, as long as they refrained from become corrupt with the power.
The three stayed together for a long time, thousands of years passing by. Societies and vast metropolitan establishments sprouted from the evolution of life. Countries were born. War tore them apart. Ogres and elves were destroyed by each other and their human brethren. Smaller creatures retreated to the highest skies, and the deepest ground, away from the earth which humans now reigned supreme. The world became not so different than the world today. The oracle was silent for a long time after that. Eons, in fact. The three entities merged with society, eventually going their separate ways, almost forgetting who they truly were in the ever-expanding universe. Time can do that.
But, just as all stories need pages to be turned,, the Oracle would eventually speak again. And she did. As the turbulent magic created the rest of the story, she yet again called upon her meisters of the Maelstrom, to control the turbulent magic-- but Kh'arkelnn was nowhere to be found, and Reickhiert found himself preoccupied with the anomalies in his new home, and recalling just what it was that he was capable of.
Amelliore did not sleep. She absorbed the magic of the oracle's turbulence without falter for years, beyond what was expected of her..

Being well versed in time is not synonymous with being well-versed in interaction. In initial contact, Reickhiert tends to be standoffish, and unwelcoming. His wary behavior stems from his betrayal from Amelliore, and he often will shy away from others because of his curse. An effort to get to know him will reveal, a quirky and eccentric character, with the tendency to desire the finer things in life.
